IN THESE COMMUNITIES, OVER 30% OF RESIDENTS LIVE BELOW THE POVERTY LINE. 17% OF YOUTH AGE 20-24 IN THESE COMMUNITIES ARE UNEMPLOYED. THESE PERCENTAGES REFLECT PRE-COVID-19 NUMBERS AND LOWER INCOME COMMUNITIES WERE HIT HARDEST BY THE VIRUS. THE MOST AT-RISK STUDENTS AT THESE SCHOOLS ARE INVITED TO JOIN A CONTINUUM OF MULTI-DAY, MULTI-YEAR PROGRAMS THAT OFFER WEEKLY CAREER EXPLORATION AND LIFE SKILLS WORKSHOPS, ACADEMIC TUTORING, COLLEGE GUIDANCE, COMMUNITY SERVICE AND WORKFORCE READINESS. HISTORICALLY, OVER 100% OF PUBLICOLOR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS GRADUATE HIGH SCHOOL ON TIME AND ENROLL IN COLLEGE OR A POST-SECONDARY ACCREDITATION PROGRAM. THESE GRADUATES ARE PROVIDED GENEROUS SCHOLARSHIPS AS WELL AS CONTINUED GUIDANCE AND SOCIAL EMOTIONAL SUPPORT DURING THEIR TIME AT COLLEGE UNTIL GRADUATION.
