What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE ASSOCIATION'S GROSS RECEIPTS CONSIST OF CHARGES AGAINST MEMBERS IN PROVIDING ADVOCACY, INFORMATION, DATA, AND SUPPORT TO ENSURE SAFE TRANSPORTATION AND A SUCCESSFUL TRUCKING INDUSTRY SERVING THE NEEDS OF BUSINESS AND COMMUNITIES, IN INTRASTATE, INTERSTATE, AND FOREIGN COMMERCE, AND TO TRANSACT ANY AND ALL LAWFUL BUSINESS, FOR WHICH A NON-PROFIT BUSINESS MAY BE INCORPORATED. THE ABOVE CATEGORIES OF INCOME RELATE TO INFORMATION AND SERVICES PERFORMED BY THE ASSOCIATION FOR THESE EXPRESS PURPOSES.
