What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? DEVELOP AND INFLUENCE SOCIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL POLICIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL FRAIL ELDERLY, AND CALIFORNIANS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. PROMOTE THE PROFESSIONAL, INTELLECTUAL, AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT OF CALIFORNIA CARE PROVIDERS IN RESIDENTIAL CARE. CCPRC.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 On March 11, 2019 ? 8 AM ? 6 PM, Federal and State Labor Training and How-Tos for RCFE and ARF Training workshop at Friendship Auditorium, 3201 Riverside Drive, Los Angeles. This whole day workshop is an educational outreach to ARF and RCFE operators, helping them with day to day operations, compliance, and financial acumen. The goal is to help equip licensed homes with ways to improve their operations and their bottom line. Likewise, help operators better understand and apply the complex labor laws pertaining to residential care. The workshop is part of an ongoing education outreach effort to protect and grow residential care to ensure continued service to individuals with special needs including the frail elderly, and individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness.

29 On April 10, 2019 ? 7:30 AM ? 5 PM, Annual Advocacy Day at Esquire Plaza, 1215 K Street, 14th floor, Sacramento, California. 6Beds directors, officers, and members and their supporters voice their support to the ARF and RCFE segment of the residential care industry. Legislators and various agency officials spoke to the attendees about the importance of keeping these homes protected to provide safe, affordable, and quality care to the frail elderly, and individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness, in light of the housing crisis. Department of Social Services provided education updates on regulations and operations to keep owners of these licensed homes compliant to Title 22 laws. Federal and State labor agencies also participated to educate care facility owners on labor compliance. Many of the participants visited their respective legislators and voiced their support of bills that can help the residential industry and the individuals with special needs that they serve. They also voiced their concerns about those bills that can hurt the residential care industry.

Various agencies spoke covering relevant topics pertinent to the industry such as fingerprinting transfer for caregivers, vendorization with the regional centers for individuals with developmental disabilities, and programs for low-income elderly.
