	The post has as its primary purpose to promote the health and welfare of veterans. It also promotes community spirit for the veterans by hosting special events during the various holidays during the year. Additionally, it encourages community programs such as the boy scouts, girl scouts, and boy and girls state. The post has an emergency fund f for helping veterans who have fallen on hard times. During COVID outbreak, our particular post tried our best to keep the doors open as a safe place for veterans in need.
