Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 1 To create a vibrant future for agriculture, farm families their communities.
Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 28 Agricultural Curriculum Keokuk County Farm Bureau conducted a teachers academy that informs area teachers of how to incorporate relevant, factual agricultural information in their classrooms. This curriculum meets the Iowa Core standards and is in a ready to use format for their classrooms ranging from PK through 12th grade.
Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 29 Public Policy Members have the opportunity to surface issues for inclusion in the policy development process. All issues surfaced are later entered into the policy development system for other members from across the state to review and prioritize. Once policy ideas are arrived at, members opinions on each are sought, positions arrived and then approved.
Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 30 Agriculture Education Investing in tomorrows leaders especially those involved with agriculture is important to Keokuk County Farm Bureau. Two high school graduates were awarded scholarships totaling. These two submitted applications that were reviewed by the selection committee and presented their respective awards at graduation ceremonies.
