	The post participates in and donates to various programs of the district and department of the American Legion such as fund raising raffles, veterans assistance programs (Indiana Veterans and Children Education and Welfare Fund), as well as JROTC awards and youth oratorical contest.

	The post has a long tradition of sponsoring five participants in Hoosier Boy's State; unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in cancellation this year. We support the North District of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department by making financial awards to their Officer of the Month program. We also support the Scouting activities at the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

	Our post facility is made available rent free to related activities such as the Coast Guard Auxiliary, various scouting activities ranging from meetings of scout leaders to the venue for the Cub Scout pinewood derby. It is also utilized for the District Junior Shooting Sports Program and the oratorical contest. The expenses of this activity is absorbed in the cost of utilities and maintenance of the facility.
