SCHEDULE D, PART V, LINE 4: THE ENDOWMENT FUNDS ARE ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE A SOURCE OF INCOME FOR DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF NATIONAL TRAINING INSTITUTE PARTICIPANTS THROUGH INVESTMENT EARNINGS.
SCHEDULE D, PART X, LINE 2: The Corporation is exempt from federal income taxes under provisions of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. In addition, the Corporation has been classified by the Internal Revenue Service as a publicly supported organization under Section 509(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Corporation follows the income tax standard for uncertain tax positions. Income tax benefits are recognized for income tax positions taken or expected to be taken in a tax return, only when it is determined that the income tax position will more-likely-than-not be sustained upon examination by taxing authorities. The Corporation has analyzed tax positions taken for filing with the Internal Revenue Service and all state jurisdictions where it operates. The Corporation believes that income tax filing positions will be sustained upon examination and does not anticipate any adjustments that would result in a material adverse effect on the Corporations financial position, results of activities or cash flows. Accordingly, the Corporation has not recorded any reserves or related accruals for interest and penalties for uncertain income tax positions at September 30, 2020 and 2019.
