| Form 990 Coronavirus Pandemic | On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization designated COVID-19 as a global pandemic. Patient volumes and the related revenues for most our services were significantly impacted in the last two weeks of the second quarter of the fiscal year 2020 and continued to be impacted in the third and forth quarters of 2020. Various policies were implemented by federal, state, and local governments in response to the COVID-19 pandemic that have caused many people to remain at home and forced the closure of or limitations on certain businesses, as well as suspended elective surgical procedures by healthcare facilities. While some of these restrictions have been eased across the U.S. and most states have lifted moratoriums on non-emergent procedures, some restrictions remain in place, and some state and local governments are re-imposing certain restrictions due to increasing rates of COVID-19 cases. Patient volumes and revenues experienced gradual improvement beginning in May and continuing through the end of the fiscal year. |
