What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE MISSION STATEMENT OF THE APTOS CHAMBER IS TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC VITALITY THROUGH SERVICE TO BUSINESS SO THAT IT MAY BENEFIT THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY AND TO HELP DEVELOP A SENSE OF COMMUNITY IDENTITY AND PRIDE.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The Aptos Chamber of Commerce holds several community events for local business people including a monthly breakfast meeting, annual dinner, offers business showcase and monthly newsletters to their members. The purpose of the annual dinner is to recognize outstanding people in the community and raise money for the Organization. Several special events are held throughout the year for the purpose of building and networking for the Organizations members.However, due to Covid-19 the Chamber was only able to have the Museum Fundraising. They also sold 4th of July t-shirts but were not able to hold a marority of their Annual Events.Fundraising income received was residual income from events held during the 2019 fiscal year and not a component of 2020 activities
