	The organization provides a national forum for insurance professionals, state insurance regulators, federal, state and local officials to exchange ideas, information and real life experiences. Information will assist federal, state and local officials in developing policies and procedures to improve response and management of emergency events and situations. These include but are not limited to; tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes, windstorms, snowstorms, and flooding. The Organization sponsors peridodic meetings and conferences such as in depth review of the National Weather Center.
