What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE CONNECTICUT DISTRICT EXPORT COUNCIL, INC. IS DIRECTLY AFFILIATED WITH THE US DPARTMENT OF COMMERCE'S CONNECTICUT EXPORT ASSISTANCE CENTER. IT IS A PRIMARILY FUNDED, INDEPENDENTLY RUN, NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION TO SUPPORT CONNECTICUT COMPANIES, COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO EXPORT THEIR GOODS OR "deemed exports". THE ORGANIZATION UTILIZES 100% UNPAID VOLUNTEERS.
