      Electronic Filing of Return We understand that the filing of this return is occurring after the due Electronic Filing of Return We understand that the filing of this return is occurring after the due date. The return was originally prepared by the President of the organization. He is not a CPA or Attorney and was not aware that the return needed to be filed electronically. The return was originally filed on paper and was mailed January 22 2021. He received a notice dated October 8 2021 in which the IRS tells him to file the return withing 10 days to avoid penalties. The date the IRS mailed the notice however was October 22 2021 thus making it impossible to comply. The President sought legal advice and it was the referred to me as a CPA to file the return electronically. The President came to my office on Saturday October 30 2021 and I have submitted the return. We are beyond the 10 day period after the date on the notice but we are within 10 days of your mailing. FInally he did not receive the forms until October 27 2021 so we are well within 10 days based on the receipt date. Please do not assess any penalties. Thank you.
