PROVIDES CHRIST-CENTERED PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THAT LEAD THE HOMELESS TOWARD SELF-SUFFICIENCY BOTH SHELTERS ARE OPEN 24 HOURS PER DAY, 7 DAYS PER WEEK AND ALL OUR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES ARE FREE OF CHARGE. BOTH SHELTERS PROVIDE EMERGENCY SHELTER SERVICES, CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES, ADDICTION RECOVERY PROGRAMS, JOB READINESS PROGRAMS AND TRANSITIONAL SUPPORTIVE HOUSING. HOMELESS SHELTER EMERGENCY SHELTER SERVICES ARE OFFERED TO INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE BEDS, SHOWERS, FOOD, AND CLOTHING. ADDICTION RECOVERY PROGRAM - "NEW BEGINNINGS" NEW BEGINNINGS IS A SEVEN TO NINE-MONTH RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES ADDICTION RECOVERY CLASSES, BIBLE STUDIES, ANGER MANAGEMENT COACHING, LIFE COACHING, COUNSELING, AND WORK THERAPY. THROUGH THE BIBLICAL PROCESS OF TRANSFORMED THINKING, MEN AND WOMEN ARE GIVEN THE TOOLS TO OVERCOME DRUG AND ALCOHOL ADDICTIONS. THE TRAINED STAFF PROVIDES A POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT THAT IS SAFE AND SECURE AND WHERE ALL THE PARTICIPANTS' BASIC NEEDS ARE MET. STRICT ACCOUNTABILITY INCLUDES REQUIRED RANDOM DRUG TESTS, SIGN IN/OUT REQUIREMENTS, DAILY SCHEDULE, VISITOR PASSES, AND TIME AWAY PASSES (EARNED IN LATER LEVELS) JOB READINESS PROGRAMS CAREER ACADEMY - FOR WOMEN AT FAITH REFUGE A TWELVE-WEEK PROGRAM WHICH PREPARES WOMEN FOR THE WORKFORCE. THIS INCLUDES COMPUTER SKILLS, BIBLICAL PRECEPTS FOR DAILY LIVING, ANGER MANAGEMENT, PARENTING, MONEY MANAGEMENT AND GED PREP AND TESTING. ON-THE-JOB TRAINING IS PROVIDED AT FAITH RESALE AND DONATION CENTER. A RESIDENTIAL OPTION IS AVAILABLE. FAITH ENTERPRISES - FOR MEN AT FAITH MISSION (SOCIAL ENTERPRISE) A SIX-MONTH RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM THAT TRAINS HARD-TO-EMPLOY MEN TO GAIN MARKETABLE SKILLS. THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO HELP MEN DEVELOP A POSITIVE WORK HISTORY WHILE THEY SAVE SOME MONEY FOR THEIR FUTURE. THEY DO THIS BY PROVIDING RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL LANDSCAPING SERVICES AND TREE TRIMMING AND ON-THE-JOB TRAINING AT FAITH RESALE AND DONATION CENTER. REGULAR BIBLE STUDIES AND CLASSES ARE REQUIRED. TRANSITIONAL SUPPORTIVE HOUSING WITH CASE MANAGEMENT SUPPORT, THE QUALIFYING PROGRAM GRADUATE WILL RESIDE IN A SOBER-LIVING, SUPPORTIVE HOUSE WITH OTHER PROGRAM GRADUATES AND A RESIDENT MANAGER AT A REDUCED RATE FOR A PREDETERMINED LENGTH OF TIME. THE OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM ARE AS FOLLOWS; 1. TO SAVE 3 MONTHS OF LIVING EXPENSES. 2. TO REDUCE AND ELIMINATE OBSTACLES TO SELF-SUFFICIENCY SUCH AS EMPLOYMENT, TRANSPORTATION, FINES AND FEES, ETC. 3. TO SECURE THEIR OWN PERMANENT HOUSING WITH THEIR NAME ON THE LEASE. 4. TO TRANSITION FROM SHELTER LIVING TO INDEPENDENT LIVING, I.E. RUNNING A HOUSEHOLD, HANDLING FINANCES, KEEPING APPOINTMENTS, BUYING GROCERIES, MAINTAINING PROPERTY, HEALTHY LIVING, ETC. 5. TO LEARN DISCIPLINE AND GROW IN THEIR RELATIONAL SKILLS WHILE SHARING IN THE GOVERNANCE OF THE HOUSE. SOCIAL SERVICES INITIATIVE THE SOCIAL SERVICES INITIATIVE IS THE COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ALL OUR SERVICES, STAFF, PROGRAMMING, FACILITIES, AND MEASURING & TRACKING TOOLS WE UTILIZE AT WICHITA FALLS FAITH MISSION.
