	Action For A Progressive Future advocated for specific policy positions and candidates while encouraging citizens to engage in democratic electoral processes. AFPF encouraged public discourse and civil debate to further inform voters and the general public about important issues facing the United States. In the process, while reaching out to potential voters who often had declined to participate in election processes, AFPF widened democratic participation and increased the involvement of individuals and demographic groups too often staying away from campaigns and elections.
