I was unaware that I need to file electronically. I received a letter a week or so ago and attempted to download software from both H & R Block and TaxAct but was unable to figure out how to use it. I contacted Form990Online to get a username and didn't hear back, in the meantime I reached out to several CPAs but none of which were willing to help. I then contacted the IRS and spoke to an agent yesterday who told me to try to go through Form990Online but it was easier and more cost effective so I did. I know the letter that I received from the IRS was dated November 29th 2021, but I just received it and tried to get this filed as soon as I received the letter. I will be using Form990Online going forward and file electronically. I apologize for the delay and PLEASE don't penalize us, we're a small Credit Union and simple cannot afford it, it was an honest mistake and it don't happen again.
