Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 1 The core mission of the WATCP is to reduce substance abuse, crime, and recidivism by promoting and advocating the establishment and funding of treatment courts and providing for collection and dissemination of information, technical assistance, and mutual supprot to association members.
Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 28 WATCP holds a two day Wisconsin State Coordinators Conference to provide educational and professional development opportunities as it relates to the role of each professional on their local treatment court team. WATCP also holds a 3 day annual conference for all treatment court professionals, including judges, defense attorneys, prosecutors, coordinators, case managers, treatment providers, and probation officers and evaluators to provide educational and professional development opportunities as it relates to the roles of each professional on their local treatment court teams. WATCP also maintains a website to provide informaiton regarding the organizations activities, events, and information as it relates to the practices of problem solving courts.
