What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? As a 501(c)(4) tax exempt organization, Lions Club of Fairfield seeks to create a better world by bringing help, hope and healing to the world.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Lions Club of Fairfield is affiliated with Lions Club International and as such provides help, hope and healing to the local community and the world through various humanitarian projects that address community needs. Lions Club of Fairfield provides help for eye healthcare as well as support to local schools and other worthy charitable projects such as scholarships, community improvement projects, foodbank projects and student awards. Lions Club of Fairfield funds the aforementioned projects through a variety of projects which include Calcuttas relating to athletic events, White Elephant auction, community birthday calendar publication and White Cane Days income.
