MAXIMUS IS AN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS WITH GLOBAL OPERATIONS THAT HAVE BEEN SIGNIFICANT IMPACTED BY VARIOUS TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS, SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIREMENTS, AND EVEN FULL OR PATRIAL SHUTDOWNS, BOTH DOMESTICALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY. THESE FACTORS ALSO IMPACTED US IN OBTAINING THE REQUIRED INFORMATION FROM OTHER THIRD PARTIES REQUIRED TO TIMELY AND ACCURATE FILE THE FORM 5500 IN QUESTION. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORIGINAL FILING DEADLINE OCCURRED DURING INITIATION OF OUR OPEN ENROLLMENT SEASON FOR OUR EMPLOYEE BENEFITS WHICH WERE FURTHER EXASPERATED BY THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC (COVID-19) AND ITS IMPACT UPON OUR OPERATION, EMPLOYEES AND THEIR FAMILIES. COVID-19 AND THE IMPACT UPON GLOBALLY DISRUPTED BUSINESS OPERATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS RESULTING IN SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN THE MANNER IN WHICH WE ALL OPERATING AND LIVE. FURTHERMORE, THE CLOSING OF SCHOOLS AND DAYCARE FACILITIES ALSO SIGNIFICANT IMPACTED OUR OPERATIONS AND LIVES OF OUR EMPLOYEES THAT WERE FORCED TO WORK FROM EITHER DUE TO GOVERNMENTAL DECLARATION OR THE SHUTTER OF SCHOOLS AND DAYCARE FACILITIES.
