| Form 990, Part III, Line 3 Significant changes in program services | Since Hopewell Center Day Services reopened June 1, 2020, after being shut down due to COVID-19 since March 18, 2020, Hopewell no longer offers contracted production services. |
| Form 990, Part III, Line 4d Description of other program services | (Expenses $ 540,621 including grants of $)(Revenue $ 459,910) The goal of Hopewell Center's Early Intervention Program is to provide individualized support and therapy services for families and their children that are showing developmental delays. The program curriculum is designed to allow children to gain proficiency in all developmental areas. Emphasis is placed on minimizing the effect of any developmental disability on the child and strengthening the bond between parent and child. Individuals must meet the following criteria to be eligible for children's services: be birth to 36 months of age and demonstrate a developmental delay or be considered "at risk" for developing such a delay. Evidence of a developmental delay is obtained through the child's performance during a multi-disciplinary developmental assessment. Once eligibility has been determined weekly sessions occur in the families' homes, childcare center or other community settings. During FY 2020 the Early Intervention Program served 324 children. Program goals indicated that 100% of the families rated the program as good or excellent, and 98% of children participating made progress towards their goals and outcomes. |
| Form 990, Part III, Line 4d Description of other program services | (Expenses $ 307,920 including grants of $)(Revenue $ 369,689) The Community Employment Services program assists approximately 168 individuals each year in career and exploration along with securing and maintaining community employment. The purpose of the program is to bring motivated workers and employers together by matching individuals' skills and interests with available job opportunities. Once employment is secured, retention services may continue for as long as needed to retain successful employment. Due to COVID and the health and safety concerns, virtual services have been implemented to allow for services to continue in some areas and to follow the recommended social distancing guidelines. |

| Part I Summary COVID-19 IMPACT | In December 2019, a novel strain of coronavirus ("COVID-19") surfaced in Wuhan, China and has spread around the world resulting in business and social disruption. COVID-19 was declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern by the World Health Organization of January 30, 2020. As a result of the economic uncertainty stemming from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, on April 21, 2020, the Center received a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan in the principal amount of $1,015,300 from the US Small Business Administration (SBA). Under the terms of the Paycheck Protection Program, a PPP loan provides for conditional forgiveness if the Center utilizes the loan proceeds on admissible expenses, including qualifying payroll, rent, and utility expenses, and maintains employment and compensation levels for a specified period of time. Although the Center believes the conditions for full forgiveness of the PPP loan will be met, ultimate forgiveness is conditioned upon the SBA concurring with the Center's good-faith assessment that the current economic uncertainty made the loan request necessary to support ongoing operations and the loan proceeds were to additional penalties. |
