	ASBCO has adopted a benefit program (The Plan) for the purpose of providing medical benefits to employees and their eligible dependents (Members). A trust was formed on Jan 1, 1994 for the purpose of holding assets of the Plan and serving as a funding vehicle for benefit payments under the Plan. This trust is intended to qualify as a Voluntary Employee Benefit Association ("VEBA") under section 501(c)(9) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. This VEBA services active employees and their eligible dependents (Members).
