What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The District exists to run ACBL-sanctioned regional bridge tournaments and other multi-level bridge competitions in WA and BC and to promote bridge as a recreational activity in general.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The District had planned to conduct four tournaments in 2020 as well as two multi-level competitions. However, due to COVID-19, all planned events had to be cancelled. Some promotional and other costs were incurred despite the cancellations. Normally, the District provides grants to qualifying pairs and teams in multi-level events but no grants were provided this year as none of these events took place.
