Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The mission of Firemen's Mutual Aid is to provide fraternal assistance and fellowship including inexpensive, portable, and participating burial insurance to members of the Chicago Fire Department and their dependents. As a fraternal benefit society, Firemen's also offers fraternal lodge meetings and education scholarships.

Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19	The organization makes its governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements available to the public by having them available upon request at the office of the organization. The governing body meets quarterly and annually to discuss such issues, and we have an independent accountant and actuary monitoring our accounts and activities, as they perform their services. The society also has a Disclosure Form for Potential Conflicts of Interest that employees, officers, directors, etc., complete annually.
