This location is also available for meetings for other community groups such as: American Legion, American Legion Riders and auxiliary, Knights of Columbus, Sons of Norway, Honor Guard, Pheasants Forever, Spokane Bird Dogs, Seabees and the Military order of the Purple Heart. Monies are also sent to the National VFW for special events, memorials and scholarships.

Educational outreach including Echos From the Wall, educational brochures including flag brochure and posters, Small Flags Veterans in the Classroom. Youth activities sponsorship including Boy & Girl Scouts, Junior Olympics, Bike Safety, JROTC units, Color Guards, drill teams and a variety of other programs to build good citizenship and exemplary character in american youth.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6	The post has a full membership and is growing. Membership in the VFW is open to any individual who meets all three of the following requirements. The individual must (1) be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national, (2) be currently serving in the armed forces of the United States or have received an honorable discharge or a general discharge under honorable conditions, and (3) be currently serving in or have completed service in a war, campaign, or expedition on foreign soil or in hostile waters. The VFW recognizes as proof of such service the issuance of a qualifying campaign medal, the receipt of hostile fire pay or imminent danger pay (as verified by a military pay statement), or service in Korea for 30 consecutive or 60 nonconsecutive days.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a	Elections are held yearly with the exception of trustee positions which come up for election on one, two and three year intervals. 4 other positions are appointed rather than elected. Thousands convene each year at the VFW's national convention to elect officers, adopt resolutions and discuss business affairs. Leading the organization are the elected commander-in-chief, senior vice commander-in-chief and junior vice commander-in-chief. The National Council of Administration serves as the VFW's board of directors.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b	As of 2020 the VFW has 1.6 million members and Auxiliary members, forming 6,000 local chapters known as Posts, grouped into 52 Departments covering the 50 states, the Asia-Pacific area, and Europe.
