Each member of the compensation-setting body is a disinterested party. Jesuit members of the Executive Committee recuse themselves from the salary deliberations. Salary data obtained from the Association of Colleges and University Personnel Administrators, the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities and an executive search firm database is used to determine compensation comparability. The President or Provost uses salary data obtained from the Association of Colleges and University Personnel Administrators, the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities and an executive search firm database to determine compensation comparability. On a regular basis the Executive Committee of the Board reviews the compensation of key employees. All compensation adjustments, such as merit increases are documented in the Performance Evaluation and reviewed for reasonableness and industry comparability via budget analysis. |
