Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 1 To create a vibrant future for agriculture, farm families their communities.
Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 28 Youth Education Investing in tomorrows leaders especially those involved with agriculture is important to Louisa County Farm Bureau. Five high school graduates were awarded scholarships. These five submitted applications that were reviewed by the selection committee and presented their respective awards at graduation ceremonies.
Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 29 Public Policy Members have the opportunity to surface issues for inclusion in the policy development process. All issues surfaced are later entered into the policy development system for other members from across the state to review and prioritize. Once policy ideas are arrived at, members opinions on each are sought, positions arrived and then approved.
Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 30 Food Bank Promotions Due to the pandemic and the increased need for area food banks, donations were made to help those who were in need. All four food banks in the county were provided much needed funding.
