What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Our purpose is to establish a civic organization to promote the common good of the State of Vermont, focusing on sound public policies to foster a strong economy and promote the general welfare of the State, and all the other lawful purposes.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Providing public education opportunities around present and future economic, tax and business development policies in Vermont in the public and private sectors, through conferences, web site resources, marketing, newspaper opinion pieces, radio advertising, and in-person meetings around the state. These activities will further the organization's exempt purposes by enabling Vermonters to better understand current policies and grasp the need to work for improvements and changes to these policies, resulting in a stronger state economy and improved public welfare for Vermont and Vermont residents.
