	Community Based Pilot Projects - During the first quarter of 2020, Equal Voice Action continued its community-based project with Ubuntu Village in Louisiana. Ubuntu Village sought to engage court-involved families and allies as shared Ubuntu/EVA members, support them through direct advocacy services, and train and mobilize them as "Parent Navigators" and community leaders who can lead knowledge-building, community organizing, and collective advocacy for policy change.

Form 990, Part III, Line 2	The Community-Based Pilot Projects and Digital Organizing Project began in 2019.
Form 990, Part III, Line 3	In March 2020, Equal Voice Action ceased its program operations and administrative work to close out the organization as of April 30, 2020. The Board of Directors approved the dissolution of Equal Voice Action and the organization was officially dissolved by the State of Washington in July 2020.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b	The Form 990 is prepared by a financial contractor of EVA. The return is then reviewed by management and a complete copy is provided to the full board for review prior to filing with the IRS.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c	EVA circulates its conflict of interest policy with its board members, officers and key employees annually. Board members, officers and key employees are required to complete an annual conflict of interest statement and disclose any potential conflicts as soon as they arise. The board of directors monitors and enforces this policy.

Explanation:

Equal Voice Action was dissolved in July 2020. A short year final return was prepared and mailed in January 2021. Due to the 2020 Form 990 forms not yet being available it was not possible to electronically submit the return at that time and we were attempting to meet the short year filing deadline. In October 2021 the mailed Form 990 was returned with a letter from the IRS stating that it could not accept a mailed return and that it was required to be submitted electronically. Therefore, the short year 2020 Form 990 is being re-submitted electronically as requested.
