Other	Part III, Line 28 - Policy - The organization was active in achieving their goal of influencing public policy for the benefit of their 675 members in the county. The board of directors generated an opinionnaire in April to distribute to all members, so they have the opportunity voice their opinions on issues that are important to their members on the local, state, and national level. These were distributed via email and U.S. mail. The results were tabulated, and policy was approved by members at their policy development meeting in June. The organization's Annual Meeting was held by proxy due to COVID-19, with 64 ballots received by mail.
Other	Part III, Line 29 - Ag Promotion - COVID-19 heavily impacted the activities of the organization in 2020. The organization promoted agriculture to members and the general public in various ways. The organization purchased print and Facebook advertising throughout the year that promote livestock and row crop production as well as advocating for agriculture to the 6,850 residents of the county. The organization donated to several local charities through the year to show that the farmers that grow and produce food locally also want to support those in need during the pandemic.
Other	Part III, Line 30 - Ag Education - The organization is a strong supporter of agriculture education to people of all ages, but in particular elementary students in the county. The organization provides materials and one full-time ag-in-the classroom coordinator to lead virtual educational sessions this year due to COVID-19 in 3 schools in the county, reaching 190, 2nd and 4th grade students in the county on a monthly basis, September through May. Scholarships of $500 were also awarded to 2 eligible high school students.
