APPROXIMATELY 25 PARTICIPANTS AND PARTNERS PARTICIPATED IN THIS LEARNING EVENT ON 2020. 4. EXPERT SPEAKERS SHARED INFORMATION INCLUDING ABOUT THE IMPACT OF OPIOIDS AND OTHER DRUGS ON BRAIN AND DECISION MAKING AND HOW TO CONSIDER UNDERSTANDING SUBSTANCE MISUSE AS A CHRONIC DISEASE AND HOW HEAD START CAN WORK TO SUPPORT FAMILIES AND THEIR CHILDREN. THIS EVENT WAS HELD IN PLACE OF THE DECEMBER COUCIL MEETING WITH APPROXIMATELY 85 PARTICIPANTS. - MHSA SERVES AS A REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE HEAD START COMMUNITY AND THE ASSOCIATION AS A WHOLE ON SEVERAL BOARDS AND COUNCILS.
