Composition Competition (ISComp) is an opera competition where APAC worked alongside with Young Artists Program of the Houston Grand Opera, Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, City of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, Suzhou Industrial Park, Suzhou Culture and Art Center, CCTV Television, China Arts and Entertainment Group, Weitax Group, and two committees of judicators of professional musicians and opera house artistic administrators from the United States and Europe. 100 young composers applied, 23 composers from 14 countries were chosen for the semi-final competition, and 14 chosen from 8 countries as finalists and winners. 10 received first prize in the amount of $10,000 each and 4 received $2000. 139,067
