Introduce, establish and mature a community festival utilizing the data collected from the community festival survey and with the direction of the community festival ad hock committee.II. Continue to strengthen our relationship with the City of Okmulgee, County of Okmulgee and OADC by supporting community development opportunities and economic development activities and thereby encourage positive growth and perception of our community. 28 The Annual Chamber Banquet was held in October at the Historic Okmulgee Mansion. Approximately 140 people attended. Expenses were for catering, entertainment, decorations, awards, printing invitations and tickets. Expenses totaled $5,115.26 and revenue totaled $6,707.24, for a profit of $1,591.98. 29 The Okmulgee Chamber has a Monthly Legislative Forum. It is held once a month beginning in January and concluding in May. We were able to hold all five, but the April and May Forums were held virtually with the help of Representative Logan Phillips. Attendance was less than "in person" Forums, but we still had people from throughout the county log onto the Chamber's Facebook page to participate. 30 The Chamber held a Proper English Tea commemorating the Centennial of the 19th Amendment being ratified. It was held in August at the Historic Okmulgee Mansion. Displays from the Oklahoma Historical Society highlighting the 19th Amendment and notable women from Oklahoma were on hand. Thirty-nine tickets were sold. Expenses for the displays, printing for invitations, tickets, table cards, catering, tea, etc. totaled $1,401.03 and the revenue totaled $2,619.00 for a profit of $1,217.97.
