Part X, Line 2:	Lexington Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that is exempt from income taxes under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code. Information returns are filed as required by law. The impact of an uncertain income tax position on the income tax returns must be recognized at the largest amount that is more-likely-than-not to be required to be recognized upon audit by the relevant taxing authority. Accounting standards also provide guidance on de-recognition, measurement, classification, interest and penalties, accounting for interim periods, disclosure, and transition issues with respect to tax positions. The Organization has determined that it has no uncertain income tax positions as of September 30, 2021. Also, the Organization does not anticipate any increase or decrease in unrecognized tax benefits during the next twelve months that would result in a material change to its financial position. The Organization's tax returns for years ended after September 30, 2018 remain open for examination.

Information returns are filed as required by law. The impact of an uncertain income tax position on the income tax returns must be recognized at the largest amount that is more-likely-than-not to be required to be recognized upon audit by the relevant taxing authority. Accounting standards also provide guidance on de-recognition, measurement, classification, interest and penalties, accounting for interim periods, disclosure, and transition issues with respect to tax positions. The Organization has determined that it has no uncertain income tax positions as of September 30, 2021. Also, the Organization does not anticipate any increase or decrease in unrecognized tax benefits during the next twelve months that would result in a material change to its financial position. The Organization's tax returns for years ended after September 30, 2018 remain open for examination.
