What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Promoting the General Welfare of the faculty through collective bargaining and contract administration. The Faculty Association has about 240 full-time and 300 part-time faculty members.

Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 16 Other expenses include flowers for illnesses, gifts for retirees and memorial contributions. It also includes food for the meetings of the controlling board, food for negotiating sessions and food for one or two social event(s) for current and retired members. Furthermore, it includes public relations expenditures, costs of sending a faculty member to a labor conference and our general liability and bond insurance premiums.
