Explanation:

I mailed a paper copy of our 990-EZ form on May 4, 2021. Based on the instructions for 2020, Part D, on page 6, 'Electronic filing for tax years ending on or after July 31, 2021.' Since our tax year ended on Dec 31, 2020, I assumed a paper copy would be accepted up to the 2021 date stated in the instructions. It was not, and I was notified by mail late November, 2021. -- BH
