Explanation
Form 990, Header, Line B
The AGA's 990 tax return for 2019 was filed in hard copy by United States Mail on May 14, 2020. By letter dated September 15, 2020, the IRS gave notice that the organization had failed to file its 2019 return. The AGA responded on September 15, and provided a copy of the return which had been filed on May 14. The IRS then issued a notice received on October 14 saying the return was incomplete. On October 15, the AGA re-submitted its 990 return and included Schedule L which had been inadvertently omitted from the original return. Thereafter, the AGA received a notice that the 990 return should be filed electronically. The AGA attempted multiple times to re-file the return electronically and, and for several attempts over a period of weeks, the AGA received a message that the IRS was not accepting any filings from any company until last week of December/first week of January.

The conflict of interest policy is sent annually to each director and officer with a reminder of the obligation for each director and officer to make any disclosures on a timely basis as to any matters which would present a potential conflict of interest. The AGA does not have any employees. By virtue of Rob Addington's position on the Board of Directors, the same conflict of interest policy and disclosure requirements apply to Anera Sports.

The AGA Executive Committee reviews its contract with Rob Addington and Anera Sports on an annual basis to assess performance and results and considers whether to renew the contract. No other director or officer receives any compensation for his or her services as director or officer.

The AGA sends its conflict of interest policy to each directors and officer on an annual basis for review, together with a reminder that each director and officer is required to disclose in advance any matter or transaction which might present a potential conflict of interest so that such disclosure can be reviewed and addressed by the AGA in advance of the occurrence of any operative facts.
