What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The primary purpose of Rolling Thunder Inc., Indiana #1 is to educate the public about American prisoners of war (and missing in action) that were left behind; and, to advocate the return of future prisoners of war. In addition, to provide financial assistance to American veterans (i.e. - rent, utilities, food).
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Chair of Honor Program - A chair is placed in a setting of respect to remember those that have not returned home from war and are missing and unaccounted for. Purpose is to educate the public and provide a constant reminder. Seen by thousands. A traveling Chair of Honor was built for the 2020 Indianapolis 500 Festival. Also, a walkway and boulder were installed at the Indiana Veterans Home Grove of Honor in Lafayette Indiana.
