What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Colorado Academy of Audiology is organized for the purpose of promoting thepublic good by fostering growth, development, recognition, and status of theprofession of Audiology and its members.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 In 2020 the Colorado Academy of Audiology was involved in significant lobbying efforts, including testifying on behalf of CAA in support of the Colorado Audiologist License Bill on two separate occasions. CAA hosted three town halls regarding COVID-19 to lend support to Colorado Audiologists, as well as hosting a virtual membership meeting and continuing regular communication with the membership through newsletters and social media.
