	Firefighting Services is the primary mission of the Harrisville Volunteer Fire Department. HVFD stands ready at all times to provide these services to Ritchie County, WV. The second mission of HVFD is responding to emergency situations. They are good at this task also. The third mission of HVFD is the training of its members. They are serious with this job and spend a lot of time at it.
