    1 Education/Outreach:NMA educates a range of audiences, including parents, teens and health care professionals, about meningococcal disease and its prevention. NMAs national educational efforts include maintaining an updated website with disease and prevention information, stories from families who have been affected by meningococcal disease, and downloadable resources for the public. NMA also has a presence on social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram. NMA advocates speak to different national, state, and local organizations, such as public health departments and immunization coalitions, about the importance of immunizations. 109,954
    2 Partner Programs:NMA supports adolescent vaccination generally through direct communications and via partnerships and coalitions. NMA sponsors public health forums in which its members participate, along with other public health advocates and professionals. These forums address vaccination policy and public health. 31,288
