THE DISEASE ARRIVED IN INDIA IN MARCH 2010 AND IT DEVASTATED POOR PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR DAILY WAGE JOBS AND ANY ABILITY TO PROVIDE FOR FOOD AND CLOTHING. WE RAISED FUNDS TO HELP THE POOR AND HUNGRY PEOPLE. WE PROVIDED RICE, DHAL, COOKING OIL, SUGAR, FRUITS, VEGETABLES, ETC. TO LAST UPTO A MONTH FOR THOSE WHO HAD HOUSING. WE PROVIDED COOKED AND PACKAGED MEALS FOR THOSE THAT DID NOT HAVE A HOUSE AND THEREFORE, STRANDED IN BUS AND TRAIN STATIONS. WE MINISTERED TO THE NEEDY PEOPLE IN THE TOWNS OF ERACHIKULAM, KALLADIANKONAM, MOOLACHAL, NAGERCOIL, PARAIYADI, PULIYARANGI, THUMBACODE AND THITTUVILAI IN KANYAKUMARI DISTRICT OF TAMIL NADU. ALSO IN KOTTUR AND PERIATHALAI IN THIRUNELVELI DISTRICT OF TAMIL NADU, MADURAI AND ALANGANALLUR IN MADURAI DISTRICT OF TAMIL NADU, THAMABRAM AND KALLIKUPPAM IN CHENNAI, TAMIL NADU, THARANGAMBADI AND KARAIKAL NEAR PUDUCHERRY, HYDERABAD AND SANGAREDDY IN TELENGANA STATE, SOUTH ROYALSEEMA, KEESARA AND NUZVID IN THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH AND THALEGAON NEAR PUNE IN THE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA. 2. WE HELPED TO PAY TUITION FOR A NUMBER OF POOR STUDENTS AT THE E.D.THOMAS MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL IN KUDIKADU, NEAR THANJAVUR, TAMIL NADU. THESE STUDENTS COULD NOT AFFORD TO PAY THEIR TUITION BECAUSE THEIR PARENTS' FINANCIAL SITUATION WAS AFFECTED BY COVID-19 3. WE CONTINUED TO PROVIDE THE TUITION FEE FOR NURSING SCHOOL. THIS IS PROVIDED TO THE WIFE OF ROMESH NAYAK, SON OF A SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH PASTOR WHO WAS BEHEADED BY A MOB FOR HIS FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST. 4. WE CONTINUED TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL AND COUNSELING SUPPORT TO 4 YOUNG PEOPLE FROM ONE FAMILY THAT ARE ADMITTED TO A MENTAL INSTITUTION NAMED INSED IN SANGAREDDY, TELENGANA, BECAUSE OF BEHAVIORAL PROBLEMS WE CONTINUED TO PAY FOR A NURSE TO CARE FOR THEM AND TO MAKE SURE THEY TAKE THEIR MEDICATIONS REGULARLY. IN ADDITION, WE PROVIDED BLANKETS AND ONE SET OF CLOTHES FOR 69 RESIDENTS AND PROVIDED A SPECIAL MEAL FOR THEM ON CHRISTMAS DAY. 5. WE PROVIDED COTS, BED SHEETS, PILLOWS, BLANKETS ETC. TO THE BOARDING STUDENTS OF KHOSHISH ADVENTIST SCHOOL IN JALDEGA, IN THE STATE OF JHARKHAND. THIS IS A SCHOOL THAT CATERS TO THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF THE STATE WHO ARE POOR AND UNDEDUCATED. |
| FORM 990-EZ, PART III, LINE 29 | PHILIPPINES MISSION DURING THE YEAR 2020, WE PROVIDED A NUMBER SERVICES TO THE PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES. 1. WE HAD PLANNED TO VISIT CAGAYON DE ORO, MISAMIS ORIENTAL IN MINDANAO, PHILIPPINES IN THE MONTH OF MAY 2020. BUT THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC DESTROYED OUR PLANS AND WE CANCELLED OUR VISIT. HOWEVER, THE LOCAL PASTORS UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF PASTOR ADRIANO LACAPAG,JR. DECIDED TO CONTINUE PREACHING THE GOSPEL IN OUR ABSENCE. WE FINANCIALLY SUPPORTED THIS GROUP AND PAID THE WAGES OF 3 LAY PASTORS. THE EFFORT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS AND MORE THAN 200 PEOPLE ACCEPTED THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR PERSONAL SAVIOR, DECIDED TO FOLLOW HIM AND WERE BAPTIZED TO JOIN THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH. WE PURCHASED BIBLES FOR THOSE WHO JOINED THE CHURCH AND ALSO FOR THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN STUDYING THE BIBLE. WE ARE CONTINUING TO PAY THE WAGES OF THE 3 LAY PASTORS. 2. THERE WERE THREE CONSECUTIVE EARTHQUAKES IN MINDANAO, PHILIPPINES.THIS FORCED MANY RESIDENTS OF THE AREA TO LOOSE THEIR HOMES AND BECOME HOMELESS. WE CONTINUED OUR HELP TO FEED AND CLOTHE THESE POOR PEOPLE. 3. MANNY DE GUZMAN, WHO SERVED AS THE PASTOR OF THE SAN NICHOLAS SDA CHURCH DECIDED TO END HIS EMPLOYMENT AT THE CHURCH AND MOVE TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION. THEREFORE, WE DECIDED TO END THE STIPEND WE WERE PAYING HIM SINCE 2014. HOWEVER, WE PROVIDED STIPEND TO JEANNETH CALABITIN, WHO SERVES AS THE BIBLE WORKER WHO PROVIDES CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES AT THE SAME CHURCH. WE BELIEVE THAT HER LEADERSHIP IS A GREAT BLESSING TO THE PEOPLE OF SAN NICHOLAS, ILOCOS NORTE, PHILIPPINES. 4. WE FINANCIALLY SUPPORTED THE NORTHEASTERN LUZON MISSION OF THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH AFTER A NUMBER OF CYCLONES FLOODED THE AREA. THE MISSION ORGANIZED A GROUP TO FEED THE PEOPLE AND TO PROVIDE GROCERIES AND CLOTHING TO THE AFFECTED PEOPLE. 5. WE HELPED A YOUNG PASTOR AT THE WEST VISAYAN CONFERENCE OF THE SDA CHURCH TO BUY A COMPUTER THAT ALLOWS HIM TO PROJECT BIBLE STUDY VIDEOS AND OTHER MATERIALS WHILE TEACHING THE LOCAL PEOPLE OF THE LOVE OF CHRIST. 6. WE PROVIDED FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO 4 POOR STUDENTS TO ATTEND BOARDING SCHOOL, NORTHEASTERN MINDANAO ACADEMY, IN BUTUAN CITY, MINDANAO. THE PARENTS OF THE STUDENTS ARE VERY POOR AND WERE NOT ABLE TO EDUCATE THE CHILDREN. WE HELPED THE STUDENTS TO JOIN A BOARDING SCHOOL SO THAT THEY COULD CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION. 7. WE ARE TRYING TO HELP BUILD THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH DAMULA-AN, NEAR ORMOC, LEYTE PHILIPPINES. WE PROVIDED FINANCIAL HELP TO MAKE CONCRETE BLOCKS FOR THE PURPOSE OF BUILDING THE CHURCH. THE CHURCH MEMBERS ARE PROVIDING VOLUNTEER LABOR TO MAKE THE BLOCKS. IT IS OUR DESIRE TO COMPLETE THE BUILDING IN THE COMING YEARS. |

WE WERE NOT ABLE TO VISIT THE CHURCH BECAUSE OF THE COVID-19. WE CONSTUCTED THIS CHURCH OVER A NUMBER OF YEARS. THE CONSTUCTION IS NEARLY COMPLETE. WE PLAN TO PAINT THE EXTERIOR OF THE CHURCH AND COMPLETE IT DURING THE YEAR 2021. 2. OUR MISSION TRIP TO LA PAZ, BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR, MEXICO IN 2019 WAS A GREAT SUCCESS. IT WAS OUR INTENTION TO VISIT THEM AGAIN DURING 2020 AND HELP COMPLETE THE LOS OLIVOS CHURCH BUILDING. BUT WE COULD NOT VISIT THEM BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC. IT IS OUR DESIRE TO BE INVOLVED IN THE MINISTRY OF THIS AREA AND TO COMPLETE THE LOS OLIVOS AND SANTA FE CHURCHES. |

WE PAID THEIR TUITION EXPENSES AND PURCHASED SCHOOL SUPPLIES BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY POOR AND ARE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE FOR THEMSELVES. LIVELIHOOD MINISTRY - WE CONTINUE WITH OUR LIVELIHOOD MINISTRY AND PROVIDED COWS AND/OR GOATS TO TWO FAMILIES IN CAPIZ, LEYTE, PHILIPPINES, TO CREATE SUSTENANCE FOR THEIR LIVING. THESE FAMILIES ARE THE POOREST OF THE POOR AND WE ARE TRYING TO CREATE SOME INCOME FOR THEIR LIVELIHOOD. |
