| COVID-19 IMPACT | On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization designated COVID-19 as a global pandemic. In April 2020, the Organization received funding from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act through the Payroll Protection Program. Funding through this program consists of loans that are designed to provide a direct incentive for small business to keep their workers on payroll. These loans will be forgiven if certain criteria are met and the funds are used for eligible expenses. The Organization applied for and received a Payroll Protection Program Loan in April 2020 in the amount of $1,861,575. The Organization intends to apply by December 31, 2020 for complete forgiveness in accordance with the provisions for loan forgiveness. Any portion of the loan that is not forgiven will be assessed at a 1% interest rate payable over a five-year period. The loan is recorded in the consolidated balance sheet in Payroll Protection Program refundable advance as of June 30, 2020. |
