What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Association of Transformational Leaders - SoCal, Inc. ("ATL") is a community for learning, growth, networking and mutual support. We initiate and sustain ongoing dialogue and education that enhances our transformational leadership capabilities. We support each other in serving humanity while creating a world that works for everyone. We are committed to maximizing the diversity of our community.

28 The Association of Transformational Leaders SOCAL, Inc. (The Association) holds two events per calendar year. These two events are all of the Associations activities. Each event is a conference style event that lasts three to four days. The purpose of each event is to educate members in, and engage in dialogue about transformational leadership. Event participants are individuals of significant influence in artistic, academic, social, political, corporate, human potential/development and humanitarian endeavors who are devoted to doing transformational work in their perspective fields. The events provide a place for these like-minded individuals to meet and learn from each other in order to enhance the transformational leadership capabilities of the community as a whole.Events include some combination of activities such as, group lectures, guest speakers, experiential learning, group learning activates, team building and member recognition dinners as a means of furthering the Associations purpose. Each event and the activities in each event are unique.The Association holds two conferences annually. In 2020, we had two conferences, one in person and one virtual due to COVID-19, in which members engaged in lectures, workshops and discussion on the following topics: "How to tell your story - Story Slam Spoken word," "Fear," "Soul," " Masculinity & Me too," "Inclusiveness," "Breathe of our Ancestors," "Virtual Fun & Play," "The Healing Power of Music," "Courageous Cultural Conversations," "Unite & Move," & "Transforming Crisis to Miracles."Past events/activities include presentations on: Strengthening our community and connection, The Order in Chaos, The Gifted Wisdom of Unpleasant feelings, Necessary Conditions for Anti Fragile Civilization, Using Your Voice for Change, From Setback to Comeback, Spiral Dynamics, Disruption Integration, Diplomacy Disrupted: How We Can Help Promote World Peace and Prosperity and the Blockchain Mindshift. Events also include, activities such as meditation, prayer, singing and other musical experiences. Members learn from experts in their fields as well as other members.
