| Form 990, Part XI, Line 9 | At the outset of our renovation project, 64 residents paid the full assessment and 50 others pledged to enroll in the 15-year annual payment program. Since then, many more than the original 50 have enrolled in the annual program while a number of additional esidents have paid in full. By the end of FY2019, 120 assessments had been fully paid and another 22 were in progress. The Association as able to accelerate payback of the loans from members, thereby leading to substantial long-term sayings in interest payments and to a long-term surplus in the overall program. The surplus, initially figured at $50 at program inception in FY2009, continued to grow until it reached a peak in excess of $62,000 during our FY2015. During FY2020, residents not anticipated to join the program did join and their payments and principal balances increased the anticipated future income by $1652, thereby explaining the change in other account balances shown on Line 9 of Part XI. |
