Part VIII, line 1f	During 2020 the Sailing Foundation of Barnegat Bay, Inc., a 501(c)(3) corporation, gave a grant to the Toms River Yacht Club to assist in the construction of a junior sailing center at the Club. This two story facility, with bathrooms, will provide storage for 8 inflatable and "hard bottom" support/safety boats used in the junior sailing program at the Club and for various junior, high school, college and senior regattas held at the Club. Additionally, the second floor will provide classrooms and/or lecture hall for all to use. Toms River Yacht Club supports a junior sailing program for its members and non-member children for approximately 129 children. Addtionally, Toms River Yacht Club supports a daily college and high school sailing programs for approximately 4 high schools and Ocean County College, and hosts regattas for 15 high schools and 15 colleges in the mid-atlantic area. The Yacht Club supports year round storage for approximately 30 sailboats used by the high schools and colleges and provides facilities for the daily practices and regattas.The grant amount that was given was spent on the construction of the building and expenditures were capitalized and will be written off over the life of the building using depreciation expense.

	Toms River Yacht Club was formed in 1871 to support sailboat racing. The Club conducts races throughout the year for many different classes of sailboats. The also permits Ocean County College and Kean College and several High Schools in the area to use the facility and grounds for their teams 7 months out of the year. The Club also conducts an 8 week Junior Sailing Program each year for members and guests. The Club hosts regattas and events for several non-profit organizations, such as US Sailing, Ocean County College, Kean College and BBYRA junior sailing & senior sailing programs.
