Over the next 6 months - July-December 2020- in person services were gradually expanded based on CDC and District of Columbia guidelines. Beginning in March 2020 all programs and activities were provided by Zoom. This continued through December 2020. The Village office was also closed beginning in March with staff and volunteers working from home. Part VI Section A line 6 - There are 2 categories of membership - full members who receive the full range of services provided by the Village and associate members who do not receive services but participate in social and other activities provided by the Village. Part VI Section A line 7a - Full members elect members of the Board of Directors at the annual December Board meeting. Part VI Section A line 7b- Full members review and approve the annual budget for the subsequent fiscal year at the annual December Board meeting Part VI Section A line 8a - The Secretary of the Board takes minutes at each Board meeting. The minutes are reviewed by the Board, corrected and edited before the next Board meeting ant then approved at the next regularly scheduled Board meeting. Part VI Section A line 8b- Each Board committee is responsible for keeping its own minutes. Committee recommendations requiring Board approval are submitted as part of the agenda for the next scheduled Board meeting. If Board approval is required before the next Board meeting the Secretary of the Board circulates the proposal by e-mail then reports on the action taken at the next Board meeting. Part VI Section B line 11b - The Finance committee consisting of the President of the Board, the Treasurer and Executive Director and at least one other Board member receives a draft copy of the Form 990 from the Treasurer for review.
