28 The Personnel Academy is equivalent to a three-semester hour course and isdesigned to provide an overview of personnel administrative responsibilities.The Fall Conference, a three-day event to provide networking and professionalgrowth opportunities, is normally held in November.The Spring Conference, a one-day seminar held in the Phoenix metropolitanarea, specifically targets support staff and is widely attended by representativesfrom the personnel, payroll, and benefits department.
