LECTURES ON VARIOUS GENERAL TOPICS OF INTEREST WERE GIVEN, STUDY GROUP OF DIFFERENT TOPICS OF RESEARCH, AND TOURS OF HOSPITALS IN THE LOS ANGELES AREA. SOCIALIZATION PROGRAMS WERE CONDUCTED FOR RECENTLY ARRIVED DOCTORS AND THEIR FAMILIES FROM JAPAN TO HELP THEM ADJUST TO LIFE IN THE UNITED STATES. EDUCATION ABOUT AMERICAN LIFE AND CULTURE WAS PROVIDED THROUGH ACTIVITIES. DUE TO THE PANDEMIC FEWER MEETINGS WERE HELD. THERE WERE A FEW VIRTUAL EVENTS.
