Our StartUp Spokane program connects entrepreneurs with the resources they need, providing support, mentors, and training. Vision 2030 is an economic development strategy that will create robust healthcare and life sciences industry growth, with a goal of a $1.7 billion annual economic impact and over 9,000 jobs for our region by 2030. GSI provides the community leadership, partnering with business, healthcare, and education sectors, to create and execute the vision for a comprehensive, world-class class center of academic health sciences medical education, and life sciences research and commercialization.

Access2experience is an online platform to connect industry and education for the benefit of students. Our Spokane STEM Network engages students with the goal of increasing the number of students pursuing STEM competencies for their future careers. Our Greater Minds Initiative works to improve education attainment for adults in Spokane County, contributing to the community goal of increasing the percentage of adults with degrees, certificates and credentials from 40% to 60% by 2025.

Form 990, Part III, Line 2	The organization took on significant economic recovery responsibilities during the COVID pandemic, as a federal subcontractor in the management and distribution of CARES Act money in the form of direct grants, marketing, and consumer confidence initiatives in Spokane County.
Form 990, Part III, Line 3	Our Start-Up program previously included the management of a co-working space for new business owners, as well as aspiring business owners. While the organization continues to support start-up initiatives, we have discontinued the management and operation of a co-working space.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6	Subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees, all persons, businesses, firms and corporations interested in the pursuit of a health business climate and the general welfare of the Spokane region shall be eligible for regular membership. Members shall consist of all persons, firms and corporations who shall contribute the membership dues determined for a particular year by the corporation's Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees shall establish a minimum membership dues rate which shall be identified as the lowest annual investment.
