Form 990, Part III, Line 4a - Program Service Accomplishments The association offered Education courses and webinars of all levels, benefiting both the relatively new and the seasoned HRIM professional. The Human Resource Information Professional (HRIP) Certification exam is designed to assess the knowledge and competencies of professionals in the HR information management field. Passing the exam indicates a demonstrated comprehensive understanding and proficiency of the defined body of knowledge in HR information management. The mission of IHRIM's Workforce Solutions Review Magazine is to build a recognized body of knowledge targeted to current and emerging thought leaders and management and dedicated to increasing individual and organizational effectiveness in the workplace through visionary and evolving uses of technology. The Workforce Solutions Review (WSR) content is specifically written for executive management and senior-level human resource and information technology leadership (e.g., CEOs, CIOs, VPs, and Directors), university professors and students, and other current or emerging thought leaders and visionaries.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 6 - Explanation of Classes of Members or Shareholder General membership based on annual dues paid.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 7a - How Members or Shareholders Elect Governing Body The Association makes available to all members reasonable nomination and election procedures with respect to the election of Directors by members. The Board of Directors govern the Association and report to the members at an Annual Meeting of Members.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 7b - Decisions of Governing Body Approval by Members or Shareholders In general the decisions of the governing body are not subject to approval by members, however, a decision to disband IHRIM, Inc. or merge with another organization does have to go to membership for its approval as does a bylaw change that fundamentally changes the representation of a member (e.g. taking away a member's vote).
Form 990, Part VI, Line 11b - Form 990 Review Process Working with the Finance Committee, the Board of Directors will review the Form 990 at a future board meeting.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 12c - Explanation of Monitoring and Enforcement of Conflicts Each member of the IHRIM Board of Directors, or any of its committees, must disclose to the IHRIM Executive Committee any conflicting or potentially conflicting personal or professional interest which he or she may have in any matter pending before the Board. It is then the responsibility of the Board to interpret and apply the policy to particular circumstances. Specifically, the Board may require any action it deems appropriate including but not limited to refraining from participation in any discussion or decision on such matter.
