reference LTR 2694C 1 48-0802662 202012 67 for tax period ending Dec. 31, 2020. I began my duties as Secretary/Treasurer for Local 735 on January 1, 2021. I have had no formal training and been trying to file everything timely and correctly. I actually originally filed our F990 on April 2, 2021, which was almost 6 weeks early. I actually filed 2 of them, due to incorrect information that led me to put all of the explanations for Schedule O, onto Schedule D, which is what the previous treasurer had done. But as soon as I received the F990 returned from Tax period ending 2019, because it was incomplete, I corrected it and sent it back asap. I then realized I had then duplicated her mistake, so I redid tax year for 2020, and resent it. I have been trying to contact someone at the IRS for WEEKS now, and keep getting told that there are too many calls and to call back on another day. I work a FULLTIME job for USPS, and I am only at the Union office on fridays, because I don't get paid for all of my time. I just recently found out that this had to be filed electronically too. So It is in hopes, that this is correct, since the returned one had NOTHING marked or notated in the letter as to what was incorrect or missing.
